Making a Difference

We are very honored to have been invited again to participate in the Coleman Challenge Grant, running from November 1 through December 31, 2025. The Coleman Foundation is offering a match for each dollar donated to SCPF during that timeframe (this includes Annual Showcase Sponsorships). Individual donations will be matched one-to-one, contributions by corporations/businesses will be matched two-to-one, and gifts from private foundations will yield a three-to-one match.

What will your donation fund? You may have heard that we recently purchased an additional CILA home that will soon open its doors to several individuals embarking on their independent living adventure. The house is essentially a blank slate, waiting to be furnished and made into a cozy home for them to call their own. But furnishing the space is more than just buying things—it’s about building a foundation for dignity, comfort, and community. Every donation will be an investment in a safe, welcoming space where the residents can thrive. Your contribution won’t just help fill a room—it will fill peoples’ lives with warmth, independence, and belonging.
