Make a Meaningful Connection with Your Year-End Gift to South Chicago Parents & Friends!
The global pandemic compelled a lot of us to learn new ways to do things (i.e., dining outdoors, grocery shopping online, video-conferencing for work, for school, and even for socializing), and the individuals you support at SCPF are no different. When everyone had to isolate and distance for protection, technology became extremely important for connecting our CILA residents with relatives and friends, staff with the families they assist, and Community Day Services with outside resources once they were able to return to limited in-person programming.
Your support at year-end will help us continue the positive strides we have made in keeping everyone engaged, entertained, and enlightened. The goal is to equip the new, soon-to-open facility in Dolton with iPads, Chromebooks, and televisions, as well as to strengthen those same enhancements at the Cap and Ewing Centers. When Community Day Services are able to return to full capacity, your donation will help us be ready to welcome everyone with enough technological resources to go around.
The general cost of a Chromebook is $150, an iPad is $330, and a television is $500. Your tax-deductible donation in any amount will be used to invest in these, as well as protective cases and accessories. The individuals we support will be so excited!

YES, I want to help South Chicago Parents & Friends make meaningful connections through technology for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities!
Your tax-deductible gift makes such a difference to so many! Thank you!
