We had a fabulous time at our very first ever South Chicago Parents & Friends Playoff Party! While the NFL Wild Card games we saw weren’t super exciting, it felt good to get together and celebrate our move to the south suburbs with a nice group of supporters and family. Our sponsoring venue, J.J. Kelley’s, was closed to the public for the day so we had the entire restaurant for spacing out comfortably. Attendees enjoyed a tailgate-style feast of nachos and chicken strips, with a build-your-own red hots and chili bar, and churros for dessert. The games were visible on multiple televisions in both rooms. There were fun raffle prizes and jerseys, and the $500 grand-prize was drawn after the first game.
